My History as an Artist

I began making art early by working on our class yearbooks for my highschool and making vector art in between classes. I used that to start exploring Adobe Tools and the art of Graphics. I borrowed a lot from nature that I would see when exploring and taking pictures with my new camera.

In my Years at the University of Utah I was able to work as a Graphic Designer for Bluelight Studios. We managed the newspapers, magazines, and event advertisments around the College. Designing many different kinds of flyers, posters, signs and banners for all the big announcements and parties for the students

While gaining my degree I had a special interest in the many forms of printmaking. Using techniques like Screenprinting, Linocut, Lithography, and Intaglio I created many different kinds of art. I found an appreciation natural patterns and flowing lines and intricate knotwork

After I graduated I made landscape photography into more then just a hobby. I took adventures across the western US and captured mountains, deserts, volcanoes, and lakes.

With all the knowledge I gained doing Photography and Graphic Design gave me the opportunity to work with a local Pottery Studio as their Marketing Manager. With time in between the make ceramics and document the process of making them with videos and photos.
